About California Proposition 65
California’s Proposition 65 is a California law that mandates companies to provide California consumers with special warnings for products that contain chemicals known to the state of California to cause cancer and birth defects or other reproductive harm. We are providing the following warning for products linked to this page:
WARNING: This product contains chemicals known to the State of California to cause cancer and birth defects or other reproductive harm.

Though a product may contain a Proposition 65 warning label or marking, it does not mean the product is a threat or danger to the consumer. A Proposition 65 warning is simply a notification to California consumers that a product may contain trace amounts of any of the hundreds of chemicals that regulators in the State of California consider potentially harmful. Oftentimes these substances are not present in a concentration that has been shown to affect humans, not used in a way that would expose the user of the product to the substance, and not considered harmful by the FDA or the EPA. Many of the substances listed under Proposition 65 are commonly found in household goods, including other types of electronics. For example, lead can be found in the solder present on circuit boards, cables, or other electronic assemblies.
Failure to provide this warning can result in significant penalties for companies doing business in California, which is why you are seeing this label on Lynx Studio Technology, Inc. and many other consumer products. Lynx Studio Technology, Inc. audio products comply with all necessary federal and state guidelines and we are committed to the quality and safety of our products.
